Primary Objectives:
-
To Monitor all capacity links, power devices and all system in PMC.
-
To follow up for the faults cases and raising reports accordingly.
Summary of Main Duties:
-
Insure of all alarms systems and devices are working properly in the PMC (duty routine).
-
Carry out watch keeping on duties.
-
Process all the alarms, and fault reports to perform corrective maintenance actions on the technical systems and services within the given operations rights and authorities.
-
Receive and process all the technical complaints (trouble tickets) and requests from the technical systems’ customers and partners within the given operations rights and authorities.
-
Performing the performance of all switching KPI’s such as ASR, ACD, NER and so on.
-
Carrying out the First Line Maintenance as required.
-
Check and acknowledge all the alarms in the technical management system and add the maintenance’s tips per alarm as necessary.

Escalate the faults, alarms, and the technical complaints or requests, that need 2nd level maintenance actions to the concerned department as mentioned in the company policies and procedures. (SLA)

start and follow up trouble tickets with the distant parties (National or International) for any technical problem appears in the Switching systems or received from the Switching engineers.
-
Report all the events in the Switching systems with the actions taken to restore faults, or any incidents as mentioned in the SLA.
-
Preform the routine and preventive maintenance on the technical systems.
-
Report the information of the CDR generation process to the concerned departments as mentioned in the company policies and procedures. (TTFILE).

Maintain the fault register, and handle reports for all the faults, alarms, and trouble tickets in the technical systems.

Raise the daily outage report of the Switching network resource and capacity (DOR).
-
Handover the events and incidents which are still on-going to the next shift engineer.
-
Updating PMC references documents.
-
Writing /Updating PMC procedures according to the SLA for each department.
-
Cooperate with Team leader and PMC manager in case of a new tasks require.
-
Searching how to enhance the PMC Work by studding similar cases (NOC systems).
Job Requirements:
-
Bachelor’s degree in IT, or Telecom, professional qualification background (preverbally 80% and above).
-
very Good in writing and speaking English language.
-
Good in communications skills
-
Good physical health.
