Primary Objectives:

• Network Engineer with expertise in core and access networks, along with a strong background in network security.

• The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Cisco and Huawei networking equipment, as well as experience in automation.

Summary of Main Duties:

• Design, implement, and maintain core and access network infrastructure.

• Perform network assessments and implement security measures to protect network integrity.

• Ensure network security through best practices and monitoring tools.

• Troubleshoot network issues and optimize performance across various layers.

• Monitor network performance and optimize router and switch configurations.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance network reliability and performance.

• Develop and maintain network documentation, including diagrams and configuration files.

• Stay updated with the latest networking technologies and security trends.

• Assist in the deployment of new network solutions and upgrades.

• Provide technical support and guidance to junior staff and other teams as needed.

• Configure and manage Cisco and Hawaii networking equipment.

• Develop and implement automation scripts using Ansible.

• Manage IP address allocations on DHCP & IPAM solutions.

• Manage inventory of IP network hardware and keep maintenance support contracts accurate and up to date.

• Extending network cabling infrastructure as/when required.

• Operations support for Unified Communications (UC) to include Call Control, Voice, Chat, Presence, Video, and associated applications integrations.

• Utilize Kubernetes for network orchestration and management is a plus.

• Stay updated with the latest networking technologies and security trends.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS).

• Experience with network security technologies (firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS).

• Proficiency with network management tools and monitoring systems.

• Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CEH).

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
